Jean Barton

My mam Jean was a fantastic woman, always smiling and never moaned! She just got on with it.
A kind and loving Mam to me and my brother and sister, Paula and John.
She had a cracking shot with a wooden scoll as I can recall!!
When poorly she found inspiration in writing poems, which made everyone smile and laugh.my mam wrote
poems about everyone,even the doctors,nurses and surgeons at the freeman hospital and sunderland
royal hospital.she knew she didnt have long to live and wrote a poem for her own funeral,called
requiem.a poem which say everything about this fantastic mam.
my mam never got to know all of her grand children properly,because she passed away.a great loss to
ryan,lewis,rhys,connor and euan. we all missed out on a very special lady.
they will never know what it feels like to be hit with a scoll .

can describe how much i miss this wonderful woman that I was proud to call my mam.
Mam, I miss you each and every day but I know you are happy where you are now....Love Mark x
